We would just like to thank Mr. Tolliver for taking the time out of his busy schedule to grant us our first NBA Player interview, he is the definition of class and we wish him and the Minnesota Timberwolves the best.
MM-First off, how’s the knee feeling?
AT-The knee is feeling great! I should be playing tomorrow or Sunday for sure so I’m excited.
MM-Often overlooked is the full process of recovery, what for you was the most challenging?
AT-The most challenging part was just being patient. Especially once I was able to run, I wanted to start playing, but it’s a certain process that your body needs to heal.
MM-During the free agency process that you concluded with the video many of us found hysterical, what was your biggest reason for choosing Minnesota over Golden State/the other teams?
AT-The main reason I chose Minnesota over all the other teams is because of their genuine interest in me. Other teams showed interest, but Minnesota showed the most.
MM-How are you liking, or more likely, dealing with out Minnesota Winters?
AT- I just dont go outside very often so half of the time I don’t have a clue how cold it is outside!
MM-Whose the biggest prankster on the team? Did Wes and Lazar get any “orientation” from the veterans?
AT-The biggest prankster is probably a tie between Mike Beasley and Corey Brewer. They are always messing around with people. The rookies didn’t have to do much yet but there is still plenty of season left!
MM- Also new is Nikola Peckovic, what’s he like around the locker room?
AT- He is an awesome guy. Really fun to be around and is really one of the nicest people I have ever met. He looks like a monster, but he is really a teddy bear.
MM-You seem pretty open about your faith, how does your Christianity influence your day to day life, specifically on the court?
AT-It is something that I definitely take pride in. That is what I represent first and foremost before anything else so I try and live my life accordingly, on and off the court.
MM-Better singer, You or Mike Beasley?
AT-If you want quality, I’m your guy but if you want quantity he wins, hands down.
